Orca's thoughts on the show.

Well this is your typical Taiwanese love + comedy. But however deep down this show has changed my thinking. This show should give any playboy in this modern age a big wake up call. "Every actions has its consequences. The question is.... can you face the music?" FTLY is relatively good for both males and females. As both sides play important parts in the creation of a family. Even though this is a comedy, but however this show isn't far from reality but yet still a bit far. Overall, I suppose this show is slightly educational.

So guys and girls, be carefull....

Hi thanks Orca for contributing your first post to this section.

Well on the surface I think Taiwanese drama seem like comedy. But if you are able to look pass the glamour of the idols and the fantasy like plots, there is a parallel in reality.

But however the only thing that doesn't quite sit right with me is that the reality of pre-marital sex in this show. It's too happy for my taste. Not every couple that marry for the sake of the existence of a new life ends up good like Ji Chun Xi and Chen Xin Yi. Many in reality end up in divorce or worse.

Most of the time, the fathers refuse to take responsibilty for their deeds and leave the mother to fate. Sometimes the parents are too young to take care of themselves not mention a new lifeform. In this case, Ji Chun Xi and Chen Xin Yi are working adults so the pressure is not so bad. Especially if Ji Chun Xi is the CEO of a company, a kid shouldn't be too much of a problem. But the attitude of Ji Chun Xi at first parallels every accidental father out there.

But in order not to be sexist, even thought it's the father[due to the nature of the sex organ] who seems to be at fault. Women are also at fault too.

This show has shown the audience a side to marriage and possibly warn us of the consequences of our actions.
