I've played basketball before but don't like it too much. It's fun though.

Basketball has its associated sub-culture; the fashion (basketball shoes, sleeveless shirts and maybe the ID bands we might often wear), the hip-hop music (esp. for Iverson and Shaq O'Neal, they're good rappers too), the slang, the attitude, and the video games...
Even though I'm not a baller myself, I think basketball is enough to be a culture on its own.
