Did anyone ever read this comic? I used to be a big fan. I had some autographed by the creator but they got lost in a fire.

I only heard of the Green Lantern because i used to watch the animated series of Justice League. Anyway, all i know about him is that he gets his powers from a mysterious ring. Can anyone provide me with some of his background? Maybe a link or info from a wiki or even better, a summary of the character in your own words.

With the two most famous being Hal Jordan (the first Green Lantern fo Earth) and John Stewart.
You should really watch the two DC animated movies if you really want to get a good look at how the Silver Age Green Lantern came to be.
