| I think yah... you got a point there my friend. If there is no sex hormones, there should be no sexual desires!
I dunno how to say this though.

| Reading more into this, I actually have to begin to go yes, but only slightly. So they contribute, but so do other things. Tales mentioned that in a period of 100 years? that puberty has sped up by 7 months I believe. In the past 100 years, the age and percentage of underage sex has grown much more than that. Like now some kids are experimenting at 12 or 13. Some might not even have urges, but society pushes it, just like other things like smoking and drinking. Early development is just a smaller image in a much larger picture. | |

| Really? even without urges children have the desire for sex?
But I really think it's the childish mentality and add sexual desires to corrupt their innocent minds. Do the math....

| Yeah kids these days or as a whole are just not ready for the responsiblities of adulthood. It's like our farm animals being forced to grow up via steroids or something.
You get it...right people? They are physically ready to create life but their minds are not ready to how to say...... take care that lifeform they just created.

| 14? This is atrocious!
But you do agree with me about the steroid thingy I just mentioned? They maybe physically ready to create life but they are not ready to take responsibility for the life they created.

| I know - that is true. The responsibility a parent carries is a very heavy one. I dont think he is ready at all. He should play it safe and use a condom or something. | |

| Very well said Orca.... But there are many factors to underage sex or underage pregnancy. But Precocious Puberty might be one of the key factors.
But you have to admit that it does play a large part in this problem.
When children started having puberty earlier than the last generation, it came a sledgehammer to the head. The society that have been used to puberty after or during 15 or 16 years old suddenly had to grapple with the fact that children are getting puberty at earlier ages. I bet the society and educational systems had to change but some societies I bet weren't even ready till now.

| Check this news out from my own country. [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]So you guys can see this is a rather worrying issue in the modern world. Children are getting sexually transmitted infections. And these diseases are not something you can cure, some if caught and not treated well can lead to infertilty and worse. | |

| So i asked my mum about this stuff and from according to my mother. She had no idea what sex was until she was 18. And i first heard the word sex when i was in year 1. Maybe because of the Internet developing all pornographic sites give children an excuse to do what they think is good for them. | |

| Hmm Notamerican suggests that the culture is that fault. But he does agree to your argument to an extend.
But frankly if the kid had no sexual desires, seeing porn doesn't affect them the same way as it does with a fully developed adult.

| It's more along the lines of a person reaching sexual maturity and human curiosity....plus your environment that you have grown up in.
If you are not overly exposed to anything sexual and nothing is forced down your throat at face value then, even if your sexually mature, you most likely won't end up having sex at an early age.
It's just experimentation between teenagers though it does get out of hand now. Society is making sex a modern day thing with adds for condoms on TV, Radio and magazines and even sexual things being presented on shows and movies and even games.
Like I said, it's the environment that we are living in and not hormones at the young age. It's natural curiosity of the human body.
What, did no one here ever play that old childhood game of doctor where you and a childhood friend (of the opposite sex) basically did the "I'll show you mine if you show me yours" bit?
