SINGAPORE : Minister Mentor Lee Kuan Yew will meet US President Barack Obama at the White House next week.
According to Mr Obama's deputy press secretary Bill Burton, the meeting will take place next Thursday.
Mr Lee is now on an 11-day visit to New York and Washington DC.
Mr Lee will deliver a speech and receive the inaugural Lifetime Achievement Award from the US-ASEAN Business Council during the Council's 25th Anniversary Gala Dinner in Washington DC on October 27. - CNA/ms
