Yes, he was.... As a chinese, I liked this guy for his courage.
Sun Yat-sen (pinyin Sūn Yìxiān) (12 November 1866 – 12 March 1925) was a Chinese revolutionary and political leader. As the foremost pioneer of Republican China, Sun is frequently referred to as the Father of the Nation. Sun played an instrumental role in overthrowing the Qing Dynasty in October 1911, the last imperial dynasty of China. He was the first provisional president when the Republic of China (ROC) was founded in 1912 and later co-founded the Kuomintang (KMT) where he served as its first leader. Sun was a uniting figure in post-Imperial China, and remains unique among 20th-century Chinese politicians for being widely revered in both mainland China and Taiwan.

Hmm I know that becos China was suffering thanks to the inefficient and corrupt monarchy system of the Qing. You have heard stories bout heroes like Huo Yuan Jia and also the old nickname for chinese; Dong Ya Bing Fu or Sick Men of East Asia right?
But it took many years for the Chinese to wash away this shame of the Qing Dynasty.

There's another thing. After your history exams in school, try to go onto the net to look for history.
Becos each country's history book tend to have some sections missing, if ya curious about the truth.
Like example, the Japanese children of today only knew of their forefathers's cruelty in WW2 from the other countries that Japan raged war on.
Germany however is an exception becos they embraced and learnt from their mistakes in the past as I remembered someone told me. Unlike Japan, Germany admitted their wrongdoings in WW2 in their history books.

I see, so some countries still think that their wrong doings are right even though they had to stop it and still encourage their children to learn at what they think is true and not what the real truth is. Thats actually a pretty smart way in teaching kids that only they are right but yet blinding them in lies.

Yeah even Singapore has something hide. For Example, Australia did sent a ship to blow up Japanese vessels in Keppel Harbour. I dunno if Tales knows about this.
I Look forward to this film regardless, the person they are protecting was instrumental in the revolution of China. Thus those who protected him will have their names remembered by us forever.........
