A futuristic martial arts action film based on the best-selling Japanese video game from Namco. The film plays out as a science fiction story set in the near future, about a rebel who rises up against the Tekken Corp. to seize freedom for his people.

This is seriously Dragon Ball Evolution all over again in my opinion. Though im not sure if these type of games are good for an adaption. Though it looks cool and i'll go see it! If any game they adapt into live action i hope it would be a final fantasy series!

Technically REBEL, they did that twice already. The 1st was 'Final Fantasy: The Spirits Within' which had nothing to do with the franchise and the 2nd was 'Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children'.
Making one a live-action would be something but it should be done by people who have lived and played these games for years and truely understand their stories.

Agreed see what happened to Revenge of the Fallen.
M. Bay is not a Transformer fan as I remember. They should have gotten someone who know their lore backwards of a franchise. M. Bay specialises in Explosions not story. ^^
