| Yep. It's always the one you have listed first on your team. Mine is currently Ding the Bellsprout. | |

| I just got Soul Silver the other day for my Acekard, it's pretty nifty. It's like an updated Silver version, which is great cuz Silver was my favorite version | |

| I just bought Heart Gold earlier today. I wanted Soul Silver but HG was all Wal-Mart had and it was also their last copy.
I must say it is definitely worth it. I already have 3 pokemon at level 12 each in under 2 hours of wild battle fights and 1 gym under my belt. It feels great playing through the old Johto story again with this new revamped feel.
Now, if they would only do the same thing with Yellow then I'd really fall in love with this franchise all over again.

| I have a question for all our Pokemon/Pocket Monster game playing members. When playing a Poke game and you use a strategy guide, which do you prefer? An official one released by Nintendo or a fan-made on released by fans using the official strategy guide and adding their own twist and witty humor?
I, myself, prefer the fan-made ones. Even though they're just copies of the official ones, the official ones are really kinda bland and plain to me. I like the humor and witty comments the writers of fan-made ones put into their guides. It makes them more enjoyable to read.
I'm just wondering as I don't have the guide for SS and HG so I'm using a fan-made walkthrough. This way I'll know about any hidden items I might have eventually missed. Of course, that's all I ever really use them for anyway. Everything else about Hg and SS is kept in memory as I can still easily follow this game like its predassecor series Gold and Silver.
Also, anyone else besides me use the PokeWalker yet. I thought it was pretty cool. I used it while I was at Wal-Mart. I uploaded a Snadshrew into it and caught myself and Nidoran Male, got 2 Burn Heals & also increased Sandshrews level by 1.

| The Official Strategy Guides. They're most useful. Lets me know what Pokémon are in the water & trees. I just caught five new Pokémon today. A Growlithe I named after my recently deceased Beagle, a Poliwag that I taught Surf to, a Weedle in the Bug Catching Contest, a Pineco, and an Exeggcute. | |

| Some of the Fan Guides also list what Pokemon can be caught in what areas.
So far, I now have both HG and SS but I haven't even touched SS yet. In HG I have 2 badges and am currently in Goldenrod City.
My team ATM:
Cyndaquil - LV 16 Pidgey - LV 16 Mareep - LV 16 Bellsprout - LV 15 Butterfree - LV 15 Togepi - LV 13
I plan on making them all into LV 20's before the Gym Battle though. I even managed to catch a Pineco about 20 mintues ago via Headbutt at LV 8 so I may raise it soon to get myself a Foretress.

| Not bad.
Hey, I forget. How does Togepi evolve into Togetic again? Is it by stone Evol or friendship evol? If it's stone, which one?

| Friendship & then level up to evolve.
After I beat Morty, I'm gonna switch out Owlmon for Swirly. That's my new Poliwag I caught today. Taught him Surf. Not sure who will replace Pollenator the Butterfree. I call my aibo Flaremon.

| Ironic that you give some of your Pokemon names from Digimon, the Poke Franchises rival.
I don't really nickname my Pokemon though. Hmm....maybe i should give it a shot when I finally get around to starting up SS.
Though, since I started HG with Cyndaquil I have to start SS with someone else. Maybe Totodile as I'm not a major fan of grass-type Pokemon whe using starters. Grass-types are basically HM slaves to me and I don't want to make a great starter into an HM slave (considering Cut isn't really great in battle).

| I do know one thing though, I will be replacing either Bellsprout or Mareep with the Red Gyarados when the time comes. That is one uber powerful Poko. | |

| I heard that. I'm gonna name the Red Gyarados Seadramon.
I'm gonna start with Totodile in Soul Silver. No clue what I'm gonna name him. Don't know if there's an alligator or crocodile-like Digimon out there.

| Remember that water alien creature from Ben 10, series 1, that Ben could turn into post Season 2? It was called RipJaws. You could name your Totodile that name. | |

| No, not really. It's just a Jouhto Region revamp. Though, you can get a few species from Sinnoh via evolution. I.E. You can get Yanmega (a.k.a. Megayanma) whne you capture and evolve a Yanma.
Though, this is a rare thing and probably only one of the few until you get the National Dex.
Bobby, if you don't go for Ripjaws when you start SS then I'll end up taking it.
As of late, team now includes:
Flaffy Bellsprout Cyndaquil Piggiotto Togepi Butterfree
All at LV 20.
I wont be switching out until it comes time to go for the Red Gyarados. Then I'll switch out for a water type that knows Surf.
Flaffy - ThunderShock, Tackle, Thunder, Sand Attack Cyndaquil - Ember, Quick Attack, Flame Wheel, Fire Blast Butterfree - Sleep Powder, Confusion, Gust, Flash Togepi - Metrenome, Yawn, Extrasensory, Rock Crush Bellsprout - Vine Whip, Bullet Seed, Sleep Powder, Cut Piggiotto - Gust, Sand Attack, Tackle, Quick Attack

| It's what I named my Pokémon.
Owlmon helped me kick Morty's ass!!!!!!! But Pollenator played a HUUUUGE key role in the battle.

| Noctowl now. Like I said earlier. He evolved. Flaremon is my aibo. He's a Quilava. Hawkmon's a Pidgeotto. Ding is a Bellsprout. Swirly is a Poliwag. Pollenator is a Butterfree.
Trying to decide which of my Pokémon should be team member #5 & #6. Ding won't be part of it.
