| Bellsprout evolves at LV 24 right?
Also, played HG on Thursday during the Bug Catching Contest. Used Butterfree and caught me a Scyther. Won the thing at 1st place and got me a Sun Stone. I like this event as it's a good way to quickly help level up your pokemon when fighting Metapod, Kakuna, Beedrill, Butterfree, Pinsir and Scyther that are all above LV 10. Raised Butterfree from 18 to 21 in under 2 minutes of batteling.
Didn't play it at all yesterday as I slept all day. I plan on getting an hour or two in before I hit the hay in a bit.

DS tech isn't capable of being able to do that yet. Heart Gold and Soul Silver are pushing the envelope of what a typical DS card can hold on info alone. The game card can only store so much info before it has to overwrite some of it and plus the DS memory can only hold so much before room has to be made. Now, if they did want to do this then they could make it to where it was all done on a Wii game cuz the Wii has more memory capacity than the DS ever will. Side note: I finally had to do it. I had to switch out one of my original 6 pokemon for a new one. I needed a water type PM so, after getting all of my team at LV 25 each, I switched out Togetik with a LV 20 Staryu, for Surf purposes. I then went after the Red Gyarados and caught it. I still have my other 5 originals and plan on keeping them that way....unless I can get one of the Legendary Dogs before then. I want to steer clear from using Ho-oh and Lugia right off the bat for the Elite Four first time round. Team ATM: Butterfree LV 27 Flaaffy LV 27 Pidgeotto LV 28 Weepinbell LV 28 Cyndaquil LV 28 Gyarados LV 30

| I already took out Jasmine. Both her Magnemites (both LV 30) and her Steelix (LV 35) fell to my LV 31 Cyndaquil. Gotta love Fire Blast.
6 badges down and 2 to go for the Johto region. I am getting ready to go into the Safari Zone next for awhile but I'm leaving that part for tomorrow. Need sleep now so I can save progress for now.
Now, after I finish up at the Safari zone, I plan on doing some heavy duty training to get everyone up to about LV 40. Then I'll be going after Entei and Raikou. If I can get one of them then I'll use them during the Elite 4 first set.
I already had to deviate from my original 6 starters just to incorperate Gyarados so one more shift wouldn't hurt. Now i just need a blasted Leaf Stone to evolve my Weepinbell into a Victrebell.

| I defeated her too. Swirly took out the Steelix and he's weaker. Flaremon used Lava Plume and Flame Wheel on the Magnemite. Some more points and he'll evolve. | |

| Cool. Wait, which Gyms's next again? The one in Mohagony Town right? Went there already earlier to get the Red Gyarados.
If you haven't done that part yet then here's a nifty tidbit.
If anyone can remember the glory days of Gold and Silver then you can remember when you team up with Lance to fight Team Rocket in Mohagnoy Town. Just before fighting those 3 Electrode at the same time.
Well, in the old Gen games, he fought one member while you fought the woman alone. In HG and SS, it's a Double Battle so it'll be your 1st Pokemon teamed up with Lance's Dragtonite. Pretty cool. Though, his Dragonite uses Fly a lot.

| Pryce?! Awe man, I hated him back in G&S. He always beat me the first time round no matter how many times I started the whole game over.
I wonder how they revamped him. I know Chuck's gym got a good revamping so I wonder how they did Pryce's gym.
Oh, also caught a new Water type. Mantine.

| I caught a Mantine yesterday. Named him Sea Wing. Caught a ton of Water Pokémon in the last few days. Waiting for DS to charge before I continue. | |

| Cool... I think I go find it. It's good to be back in Johto and Kanto.
Maybe we will see something like Flame Ruby and Aqua Sapphire in the future?

| Well, they seem to be revamping all of the 1st and 2nd Gen series of the games. RED, BLUE & GREEN were revamped into Fire Red and Leaf Green. GOLD & SILVER now have Heart Gold and Soul Silver.
They might end up revamping Pokemon Yellow first though before doing those of the Hoenn region.

| They didn't have Green. Yellow, Red & Blue were the originals. | |

| Then you don't know your Pokemon game history.
Back when Japan first released the original 1st gen series they were in RED and GREEN sets. When tye were brought over to the U.S. they changed GREEN to BLUE.
So, yeah, there was a GREEN. Check wikipedia to learn your Poke-gaming history.

| It doesn't matter if it's in the states or not. It about the whole global franchise. Certain things for the games are released that never even hit state side yet many American's know of it.
When concerning Pokemon games, if it originates in Japan then it still counts.
Though, everyone has a different point of view on that subject it's still valid. People don't refer to GREEN much cuz, yes, it never went state side. It WAS adapted and made into the BLUE version for state side release along side red.

| I caught both Entei and Ho-Oh this morning. I switched out Weepinbell with Entei (Weep's was always getting killed and his Sleep Powder always missed) and then switched out Pidgeot with Ho-Oh.
Now going through Victory Road.
For those playing Heart Gold, you'll love the battle theme when facing Ho-Oh. Very nicely done and a vast improvement over the old Gold version.
